I promise, I do more than post about styled shoots. 🙂 I’ve got Mother’s Day mini sessions waiting in the wings, upcoming newborn and family sessions, a couple weddings I’m priveleged to second shoot alongside some amazing photographer friends, and a whole lot more–
But for now, can we just admire this stunning setup from the AZ Creative Workshop and Retreat I attended a few weeks ago?? Because, seriously–I’m still kinda in awe at the general beauty these amazing vendors pulled together.
As I mentioned before, I’m pretty new to styled shoots, since they’re not common where I live–but despite my minimal experience shooting them, I do happen to have some frame of reference when it comes to planning one. When I worked with Keeler Farms at the beginning of last month to spotlight their property as an up and coming wedding venue in the area, we planned for weeks on end to get that off the ground. So I have a little empathy for Jenn Sutton and the rest of her team–I know a LOT of work goes into not only the actual day-of production and execution for one of these events, but particularly the weeks or months of planning and logistics on the back end.
I’m gonna let you get to the good stuff, because I seriously feel at a loss to describe the experience any further–these details are so gorgeous. Our models for the day were stunning, and so dang cute with each other. ❤️ The light was so so dreamy. (If you’ve ever wondered why I recommend that a bride and groom make room in their wedding day timeline for Sunset Portraits, or why I only shoot portrait sessions in the late evening or early morning…THIS. This is why).
Thank you to the team of wedding creatives and pros who gave me so dang much to photograph!
