Blue Door Venue is the newest Las Cruces, New Mexico wedding and event venue! A few weeks ago, I had the privilege of taking a venue tour with the venue’s coordinator, Melissa. She was gracious enough to show me around the indoor and outdoor spaces and tell me all about it!
Blue Door Venue is perfect for weddings and events with a rustic elegant vibe. The facility features an on-site getting ready suite (called The Loft), two indoor event spaces, and an outdoor courtyard. There is also a patio space featuring the venue’s namesake–the original rustic blue door. The building’s recent renovations have revolved around its preservation!
Blue Door Venue can host gatherings from 20 to 250 in number. It boasts both indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception options. The Loft provides space for the bridal party to relax and prepare for the festivities before a wedding. The venue grounds are lovely, with a gorgeous water feature often used as the ceremony backdrop, and outdoor string lights to illuminate an outdoor reception or cocktail hour.
I toured Blue Door Venue in the bright afternoon sun, so of course it was very bright out. I’m excited to see this space in soft, glowy evening light when I shoot Monique and Robert’s wedding there next month! It’s going to offer so many possibilities, and I really can’t wait to see that courtyard all lit up at night. 🙂
